Abstract

perform experiment for various NoSQL systems. We plan to evaluate performance of HBase, Cassandra in terms of sustainable through and latency, under different number of nodes (10-100 nodes) and workloads.

Intellectual Merit

compute science, database, nosql.

Broader Impacts

with this project, we can evaluate the performance of various nosql systems and potentially identify bottleneck for scaling out. This would lay down the foundation of our system optimization work on nosql.
