Collaborative Data Distribution and VM Provisioning

Abstract

In this project I will be conducting experiments to test an application that facilitates data distribution in a grid/cloud environment and in particular, provisioning of cloud resources.

Intellectual Merit

This project provides a middleware that improves data distribution and service provisioning efficiency.

Broader Impact

I hope to demonstrate that this middleware can improve the performance of data distribution and VM provisioning.

Use of FutureGrid

I will need to launch a couple of VM instances and distribute user data among them.
