Cloud Software Functionality and Performance Results

Inca regularly tests both the Nimbus and Eucalyptus deployments on FutureGrid. Cloud Software Usage Data

Netlogger scripts are run periodically to parse either log files or execute commands to report how many VMs are currently running and how many users have VMs running in either Eucalyptus or Nimbus. The data is collected by a Netlogger broker server and stored in a MongoDB collection. The results from the past month are shown in the graphs below. Move your cursor over the graph to see values. Click and drag a box to zoom into an area of the graph. Double-click to zoom back to the original graph.

Note:  Currently works when viewed by Safari, Firefox, and Konquerer; does not work with IE nor Chrome

Eucalyptus

This graph shows the number of currently running VMs within the Eucalyptus deployment on each machine.

Cloud Hardware Load Data

Ganglia collects load data from Nimbus VMMs at the University of Chicago. There are plans to expand this to all sites and VMMs. Click here to view all Ganglia data.
