Maintenance Day Plans



This month FutureGrid will install on India 3TB drives on all compute nodes. The upgrade will allow users to have larger instances on OpenStack and will also provide larger scratch space. We hope that this increase space will also result in interesting projects by the user community.

We intend to have the disks installed by Wednesday. The RAIN service will be temporarily unavailable due to this rebuild and become available again on Friday.

A significant network reconfiguration will be conducted and access to various portions of FG will become unavailable over the next two days.
