We would like to evaluate FutureGrid for running small to large Hadoop jobs.

Broader Impacts

UALR currently does not have a large system that can run Hadoop. We do expect to have a small Hadoop setup soon. FutureGrid should help us evaluate how we might scale our projects.

Use of FutureGrid

Scale of Use

Will probably start small with Hadoop to learn, then see how things scale with larger datasets. Ultimately datasets might be several terabytes in size.
