Description

OpenStack virtual machines are currently using nearly all of the Alamo nodes available to them. Some users that are requesting virtual machines are getting errors because of this.

If you are running virtual machines on OpenStack/Alamo and you no longer need them, please shut them down.

We will be adding nodes to the OpenStack partition on Alamo in the next few days so that more simultaneous virtual machines can be supported.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Resolution

We haven't added additional nodes to OpenStack yet, but there are resources free to run virtual machines now. We still plan to add additional nodes to OpenStck in the near future.
