Abstract

This project is evaluating XSEDE software including genesisII federated file system.

Intellectual Merit

To show proof of concept, analyze security risks, and evaluate performance of XSEDE software.

Broader Impact

To provide researchers with tools they need to do science.

Use of FutureGrid

Using the cluster, alamo.futuregrid.org and other sites to test genesisII federated file services. Provision XSEDE TIS hardware using alamo cluster management software, SGE, and file systems.

Scale Of Use

This project will utilize the cluster management software to provision hardware, and be the SGE test bed for genesis federated file services.
