Secure medical files sharing
Abstract
The objective of this project is to develop a secure sharing platform for Electronic Health Records. The starting bloc of this project is to use FutureGrid platform to create a multi-user (doctors, patients) storage system to store patient medical data. Since this data is sensitive, we will explore different cryptographic systems to implement a flexible access control layer to protect the confidentiality of hosted files.

The project will lead to the development of new control access protocol for medical data access on the Cloud
Broader Impact
The project will serve as a research tool to study the security of Cloud Computing and for testing new security protocols
Use of FutureGrid
We are two PhD students and four undergraduate students working together on this project. We will use FG to host some files, encrypt/decrypt them and upload/download shared files between users.
