Documentation Toolbar and Icons


The documentation toolbar and Oracle documentation icons enable you to navigate in the information library. This section describes how to navigate with these tools.

Documentation Toolbar
The documentation toolbar is the region with icons at the top of the browser window. If you are using a Java-enabled browser, the following four icons appear:

Note: If you are not using a Java-enabled browser, the Search and Tree icons do not appear.

Each icon activates a specific page or function within the information library:

Click Here... To...
Navigate to the home page
Activate the Java-based Oracle Information Navigator search feature for conducting full-text searches across the entire information library
Activate the Java-based Oracle Information Navigator tree, which displays the information library hierarchically in a directory tree structure similar to the Windows NT and Windows 95 Explorer
